Expression of Interest (EOI)
Utilization and Operation of Pack House at Damchu, Chukha Dzongkhag
The Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock invites Farmer Groups, Cooperatives and Agri-Entrepreneurs to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the utilization and operation of the Pack House located at Damchu, Chukha Dzongkhag.
The Pack House was previously utilized as a Common Collection and Distribution Center for agricultural products during the COVID-19 pandemic, playing a vital role in aggregating and supplying essential produce. Post COVID-19 pandemic the facility has remained largely idle as the department has not been able to utilize it efficiently due to various factors such as logistical challenges, operational modalities and the need to align common interest amongst stakeholders. However, now the Department intends to operationalize the facility to support agricultural marketing and value chain actors to enhance overall efficiency of the agricultural supply system.
Interested groups or individuals with the capacity and commitment to operate the facility efficiently are encouraged to participate. The EOI should briefly include:
- Application letter expressing intent to utilize and operate the pack house.
- Company profile or Proponentโs details (Details including proponentโs address, contact details, type of activity/business, etc).
- Documents showcasing relevant experience in managing similar structure.
- Signed Term of Referance (Kinldy Refer the ToR).
- Valid Group/Cooperative Certificate, business/trade license (if applicable).
