The Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC) in Bhutan is a government body under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, established in October 2009 to manage the country’s transition from subsistence to market-oriented agriculture.The department also facilitates exports, such as efforts to send agro-food products to Singapore, and collaborates with international organizations like NEDAC to enhance regional cooperative networks and address challenges like market access and climate change
