Technical Guidance & Facility-Use Support for Food Processing Enterprises
The Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC),Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock invites legally registered food processing enterprises to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to avail technical guidance and access to processing facilities for product development and process improvement.
Scope of Support
- Technical backstopping and advisory services (formulation, process improvement, troubleshooting).
- Access to NPHC’s processing facilities for a fixed duration to undertake research and development work.
- All resulting products and outputs (Intellectual Property) generated from this activity will belong exclusively to the enterprise/business.
- NPHC commits to not sharing these proprietary outputs with any third parties or competitors, ensuring the business maintains its competitive advantage.
- Confidentiality, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be signed prior to commencement to formalize the protection of the enterprise’s business and intellectual property.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant enterprise must be a legally registered and licensed food processor in Bhutan and shall be an operational, duly established entity actively engaged in the processing and commercial sale of its products at the time of submission.
Submission Requirement
- Enterprise profile (background, license, contacts).
- Existing product portfolio and production volume.
- Details of technical support requested, expected outcomes, and preferred timeline
- Required registration/license documents.
- Signed declaration form (Declaration Form). This form must be submitted along with the proposal.
Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
Selection Process
- Desktop review based on eligibility, clarity of request, production capacity, and feasibility.
- Site visit may be conducted to verify operations and production capability.
- Final selection based on committee assessment.
Important Note
- No financial support will be provided. Only technical support and use of existing facility for research and development purpose is offered
- Applicants must bear all raw material and consumable cost.
