Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)
Operation of Organic Product Outlet and Organic Product Aggregation Centre at Kaja Throm, Thimphu
The Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC), Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Registered Farmers’ Groups/Cooperatives, CSOs, SoEs and Business Enterprises to operate Organic Product Outlet and Aggregation Centre at Kaja Throm, Thimphu. The Organic Product Outlet stalls are located on the ground floor of the Kaja Throm and Aggregation Centre is the old Telecom Office at the vegetable market.
The Outlet and the Aggregation Centre will serve as a space to sell the products certified through Bhutan Organic Guarantee System (BOGS) and other internationally recognized organic certification systems.
Scope of the Outlet
- Sale and promotion of organic certified fruits, vegetables, cereals, spices, livestock products and those processed within Bhutan.
- Coordinating with producers and farmer groups for supply management of organic produce.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Registered Farmers’ Group/Cooperative, CSO, SoE or if individuals, should have a Business License.
- Experience in agricultural marketing, outlet management or agricultural production and marketing will be an advantage.
Submission Requirements
- Brief business proposal (maximum 3 pages)
- Copy of valid Group Registration Certificates or valid Business License or Certificate.
- Profile highlighting relevant experience (evidence documents to be attached).
