The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) is pleased to invite Bhutanese entrepreneurs, farmer groups, cooperatives, producer organizations, agri-businesses, food processors, and cottage & small industries to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to participate in the Bhutan Product Showcase during the Global Conscious Food Systems Summit (GCFSS) to be held from 31 August to 4 September 2026 at Pangbisa, Paro.
The GCFSS is being organized by the Royal Government of Bhutan in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Conscious Food Systems Alliance (CoFSA). The Summit aims to position Bhutan as a global leader in conscious, sustainable, and nature-positive food systems while showcasing Bhutan’s unique food heritage, culture, and innovative agricultural products.
The exhibition will provide selected exhibitors with an opportunity to:
- Showcase authentic Bhutanese agricultural and food products
- Promote Bhutanese brands to international delegates and investors
- Explore domestic and international market opportunities
- Network with buyers, development partners, and food system practitioners
- Promote Bhutan’s vision of conscious and sustainable food systems
Who Can Apply?
Applications are invited from:
- Registered farmer groups
- Agricultural cooperatives
- Producer associations
- Agri-based Cottage and Small Industries (CSIs)
- Food processors
- Organic producer groups
- Individual entrepreneurs
- Social enterprises
- Women-led and youth-led enterprises
- Start-ups involved in agriculture and food systems
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the Summit Theme
- Authenticity and Bhutanese Origin
- Uniqueness and Diversity Value
- Presentation Readiness
- Visitor Engagement Potential
Selection Preference
Preference may be given to exhibitors that:
- Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly production practices
- Support local communities and smallholder farmers
- Are women-led or youth-led enterprises
- Produce certified organic or naturally grown products
- Demonstrate export potential and market readiness

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee and shortlisted applicants may be contacted for additional information or verification of products.
